It is a gently undulating, level holm oak woodland, entirely covered with holm oaks, with approximately 25,000 trees. It is a small-game hunting estate, although there are also some wild boar and deer. The estate measures 402 net hectares as recorded in the deed (although it currently includes around 20 additional hectares, consisting of a path that runs through the smaller part of the estate but is incorporated into it and is not currently used by anyone). It is located alongside the Córdoba-Badajoz national road and has 2.5 km of frontage on the road, in the heart of the Valle del Guadiato. The estate is divided by the road itself, although the two parts are connected by two crossings. One part measures 300 hectares and the remainder around 102 hectares. The holm oaks have been pruned across almost the entire estate, with only a small area still to be cleared; this is currently a reserve area for some of the big game on the estate (wild boar and deer). The estate is still being cleared by two hired workers and really looks like an immense garden. The estate is entirely enclosed by brand-new 1.40-metre-high mesh fencing, with gates connecting the fenced areas and an entrance gate with stone walls built from stone from the estate itself, also recently constructed. In addition, the entire estate is served by new, levelled and compacted tracks. There is a 600 m2 multipurpose livestock shed, with a livestock unloading ramp, a storeroom and an apartment for the livestock caretaker; all the construction work has just been completed. It has a Technical Project drawn up by an Agricultural Engineer, У a Municipal Works Licence, as well as the other relevant permits. Therefore, it has a sanitary footbath at the entrance to the estate (through the service gate), as well as a manure pit near the shed. The hunters’ lodge has also been renovated, with a spacious living room with fireplace, kitchen, bathroom and a large porch overlooking the estate. Another of the buildings on the estate has been renovated as a chicken coop, with an outdoor area enclosed by perimeter and overhead mesh. The estate has a recently installed electricity supply, contracted with Endesa. Both the high-voltage line (overhead and running through the neighbouring estate) and the low-voltage line (buried across the estate), which supply power to the shed and other buildings, the borehole and the Hunting Lodge, and are also intended to supply the homes and other buildings planned for future construction, are owned by the estate. Their cost was 90.000 Euros. The estate is located very close to the village of Villanueva del Rey. It is about two kilometres from the estate to the village centre, and just sixty kilometres from Córdoba, so for someone whose usual residence is in Córdoba, it is half an hour away by road, as the road is excellent in both width and surface.
