In the so-called Alpujarra Media, south of Sierra Nevada, at the top of a hill, at an altitude of 1,400 m, this winery is located in one of the most beautiful natural settings in Spain.

It is in the area where Europe’s highest vineyards are located, at altitudes reaching approximately 1,440 m (even higher than those cultivated in the Swiss and Italian Alps, which are a little lower, at 1.350-1.300).

If you look north, you will see the southern face of Sierra Nevada, just 23 kms. as the crow flies from the Mulhacén and Veleta peaks.

If you look south, you will see the Mediterranean Sea in all its expanse, 12 kms. as the crow flies. In the distance, Africa on clear days…

This is a privileged location. Here, 7 has. of vines are cultivated with the Tempranillo, Merlot, Syrah and Petit Verdot varieties, producing around ##-##.### bottles a year of a fruity red wine.

The main building is contemporary in style. It was built in 2011. It is elevated and has clear, endless views in all four cardinal directions. I suppose being at an altitude of 1,400 m helps keep the air clean, pure and crystal clear…

The building has a floor area of around 400 m2 and has three levels.

The semi-basement floor houses the winery, where wine is not currently produced, but which is perfectly designed for installing all kinds of winery machinery.

On the ground floor there is an exhibition area and a museum, a bar, kitchen and children’s play area, as well as a large terrace with sea views.

The restaurant is on the first floor. This floor could easily be converted into a residence of around 400 m2 with views of the sea and Sierra Nevada.
