In the year 1.326, two new cemeteries were established at the Puerta de Orihuela and in the huerta de La Albatalia, remaining in those locations until the year 1.883. In the last third of the 18th century, in the Census ordered by the Count of Floridablanca, it formed a district attached to the parish of San Andres. In 1850, the population was estimated at 444 residents, scattered among houses and barracas, comprising '. 2,696 tahullas of irrigated land, and a flour mill with three millstones, powered by the water of the acequia de Aljufia'. As for the activities carried out by the residents of the area, manufacturing is the predominant sector, followed by other services, such as commerce and hospitality.
