Some houses are sold by the square metre. Others you understand the moment you picture a Sunday in them.
This is one of the latter.
Townhouse built in 2012 in the gated community Calpe Sol. Three bedrooms, three bathrooms, 114 m2. But don't start with the numbers. Start with the back door.
It opens onto a private garden and a south-facing terrace of about 30 m2 with sun almost all day. Above it, a bioclimatic pergola with adjustable louvres: want shade? Turn them. Want light? Open them. There is room here for a big table. Coffee in the morning, friends in the evening, and nobody has to book a restaurant.
Inside, everything is well thought out. Bedrooms upstairs, the main one with en-suite bathroom. Downstairs, a bright living-dining room with direct access to the garden and a separate kitchen. There is even a small separate room for the washing machine and dryer, a small detail that makes daily life easier. The ducted air conditioning cooling and heating runs on two independent systems, one per floor. There is also a small storage room.
Then the parking: two private spaces, one right in front of the entrance, where you can also charge an electric car. Anyone who has crossed an entire complex carrying shopping bags will understand.
The views are open, onto a green area. The community is fully gated, with well-kept gardens and a large communal pool. Suitable as a permanent home all year round and also as a second residence on the Costa Blanca. IW
