This working pilgrim hostel with bar-restaurant is located in Ages  Burgos , right on the Camino Frances, between San Juan de Ortega and Atapuerca. The building, refurbished and restored in 2019, enjoys a privileged and highly visible position along the Camino as it passes through the village.
The property brings together three complementary uses under one roof: a bar-restaurant with seating for 30, a fully operating hostel and an independent home. The restaurant has a well-equipped professional kitchen for daily service, a spacious storeroom with pantry and refrigeration, and a bar area with everything needed to serve both pilgrims and local customers.
The hostel occupies the upper floor and offers 22 beds across five rooms with bunk beds, all with full bathrooms, individually controlled heating and built-in wardrobes, plus communal areas with a TV, bathrooms and a washer-dryer.
The independent home occupies the attic floor and includes a full bathroom, a double bedroom, a living room, a guest room and a laundry area, in a bright space thanks to its Velux-style skylights.
The building has solar panels on the roof which, together with a pellet boiler, provide heating for the whole property.
Ages lies just over two kilometres from the Monastery of San Juan de Ortega and Atapuerca, and just over 20 km from the city of Burgos.
