The Balearic Islands have 167 thousand hectares of Useful Agricultural Area (UAA), of which 61% is arable land, 27% is woody crops and 11% is permanent pasture. In terms of agriculture, carob, almond, barley and olive crops predominate. With respect to livestock, sheep, cattle and pigs, respectively, stand out. In the hunting aspect, the following small game species are hunted: partridge, rabbit, thrush, woodcock and woodcock. In big game hunting, the Balearic boc stands out.
