Description
This beautiful estate is located in the Natural Park of Sierra de Aracena and Picos de Aroche, very close to the nearest town. It is a short 1-hour drive from Seville, with approximately half of the journey taking place on the Autovía de la Plata (A-66) and the other half on the Aracena-Portugal road (N-433). The entire route is paved until reaching the entrance of the estate, and from there it's only 1,100 meters to the main house via a well-maintained lane, so it takes about an hour by car from Seville. It has a surface area of 491.02 hectares according to measurements taken in 2012, although Catastro assigns 484.52 hectares and Registro de la Propiedad assigns 497.81 hectares. DESCRIPTION AND UTILIZATION Typical Dehesa (Mediterranean woodland pasture) in Sierra de Aracena with an average altitude of around 600 meters and a mild average temperature; usually about 5 or 6°C lower than Seville. Populated with abundant mature trees of the main species found in Mediterranean forests: holm oaks, cork oaks, gall oaks, wild olives, strawberry trees, ash trees, mastic trees, heathers... etc. There are also 21 hectares of organic olive groves and an orchard enclosed by a stone wall with fruit trees. The lanes are in good condition with ditches, concrete crossings and culverts. Some stone walls are well preserved while others have been recently reconstructed during this year (see subsidy section).
