What is the relevance of this type of farm in national agriculture?

Dryland farms are a key pillar of Spanish agriculture. In Spain, dryland represents 76% of the cultivated area, which equals 13 million hectares. Its cultivation is mainly concentrated in the interior of the peninsula, with Castilla-La Mancha, Castilla y León, Andalucía, and Aragón as the main regions.

On these farms, dryland crops of great economic value are produced, such as olive groves, vineyards, and cereals. Spain, the world leader in olive oil production, grows 68% of its olive groves in dryland. The same occurs with vineyards, with 58% of their area being in this type of farmland. In the case of cereals, a strategic sector for the country, 87% of its cultivation is also in dryland.

At Cocampo, we are aware of the significance of these farms. Therefore, we offer a variety of non-irrigated lands so that those interested in investing in them can find the ones that best suit their needs.
