The great attraction of this curious enclave is precisely being next to an original archaeological site from the 8th century BC. It is a flat hill of about 6 hectares with a walled fortification and the stone foundations of what was once a settlement during that time, which emerged during the Phoenician exploration towards the interior of the southeastern peninsula. Its emergence as a settlement is justified by its proximity to the mining operations in the Aználcollar and Río Tinto district. Just bordering this enclave is a small pasture of 30 hectares with typical tree groves found in the foothills of Sierra de Tejada and the natural spot known as Pata del Caballo. The Barbacena stream runs through the center of the property, through a rather rugged area where it forms a beautiful almost semi-circular meander. The vegetation consists mainly of Mediterranean forest: holm oaks and wild olive trees complemented by typical shrubs such as mastic, rosemary, myrtle... There are also stands of eucalyptus trees. The property has an unfinished building on a rather high area. It also has remains of another construction that could be restored as well. There is a well on-site. An electric power line passes along one boundary. There is perimeter cattle fencing.
