Description
Mixed-use farm with great agricultural potential located in Pozo Hondo, Santiago del Estero province. This property has a total of 7,032 hectares, of which 313 hectares are dedicated to crops, 3,169 hectares have been cleared for agriculture but are currently planted with pastures. In addition, 1,230 hectares are intended for livestock and 1,164 hectares of forest are fenced, while 693 hectares remain as reserve forest. The rest of the establishment corresponds to windbreaks and roads. The farm has very good infrastructure for livestock development and presents significant potential for expanding agricultural land. The 3,169 cleared hectares, currently used for livestock with pastures and controlled regrowth, offer an ideal opportunity to incorporate more land into the agricultural sector. The property is divided into two sections: one of 3,990 hectares with direct access from National Route No. 34, and another of 3,042 hectares accessed by an internal road 12 kilometers from the same route. Both sections of the farm are equipped with 9 water wells, 4 of which are artesian and the rest semi-artesian. The extracted water is pumped to Australian tanks, from where it is distributed to the different paddocks of the establishment. The pastures planted in the farm are buffel grass Texas, Biloela, Numbak, and Gatton Panic. This forage mix allows a carrying capacity of 0.8 livestock unit per hectare of pasture.
