The house is well-insulated with double glazing throughout. The ground floor has underfloor heating powered by central heating system powered by an economical olive pipa system (domestic gas oil can be used if necessary). Thick walls ensure that the house stays warm in winter and cool in summer.
There's excellent and reliable internet connection via wifi throughout the house. Working from home couldn't be easier.
Electricity is provided by solar panels, with a 16KVA generator as backup. Water is obtained from a rainwater collection system or delivered by tanker trucks. It is fully filtered and undergoes UV disinfection, and passes through a water softening system. The water tank at the house has a capacity of 30,000 liters.
THE LAND
The land consists of 21 hectares of old olive trees (over 100 years) and new ones (over 20 years) - 5,500 olive trees of the Marteña, Picual, and Hojiblanca varieties. There are also 3 hectares of mixed almond trees. The estate also includes 4.6 hectares of well-maintained tracks and 3 hectares of bordering ravine.
The farm receives an annual grant from the EU.
Located just 50 meters from the house is a tractor shed measuring approximately
100 sqm with its own power generator, water collection system,
and a water tank with a capacity of 15,000 liters.
The farm is sold with all the agricultural machinery in working condition:
a New Holland crawler tractor,
an expandable olive trailer (4000 kg) for the tractor,
a general-purpose trailer (1.4 m3). During harvest time,
a Land Rover Defender
110 with a tipping trailer
with a capacity of
3,500 kg is used for daily delivery to the local cooperative.
Additionally, there's also sprayer equipment,
a plow,
a rake (harrow),
