    This is a magnificent sporting estate in one of the most beautiful corners of Granada Province, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, home to Europe’s southern-most ski resort.
    
    The property extends to approximately 1,000 hectares of mountain and forest and has some of the most abundant fresh water mountain springs in Andalucia.
    
    The 34 bedroom hotel was built in 2001 to a luxury specification including Mudéjar architectural references, and was rated as a 4 star forest establishment. All bedrooms are ensuite and vary from single guest rooms up to larger suites. There is an enormous dining room and an adjacent guest lounge and bar. The property contains all expected ancillary rooms and services - huge catering kitchen, store rooms, elevator, store rooms. The hotel is currently empty and would benefit from an interior design refreshment. There is enormous potential to develop the accommodation offerings by restoring additional properties on the estate and creating a luxury spa destination. There exists an indoor heated pool but the potential is there for the expansion of spa and treatment facilities for guests.
    
    The estate is licensed for game hunting and the forests contain Ibex, wild boar, deer, rabbit and a lot of partridge. There are equestrian facilities on the estate (stabling and hacking routes), and there are extensive routes for hiking, 4 x 4 safaris and mountain biking. The Sierra Nevada Ski Centre is 50 minutes’ drive from the property.
    
    There are at least 5 natural mountain springs on the estate, one of which produces 700 million litres of water each year. There is a site that has been identified for the development of a bottling plant with flat land for the construction of the plant and the associated transport logistics. The estate lies 7 kms outside the village of Diezma, adjacent to the A-92 motorway that runs across Andalucia from Almeria to Málaga.
